親愛的藝廊或收藏家：
我希望這封信能為您呈現我作為一位藝術家的喜悅。我是林衍馨，90年代創作者，十多年來致力於當代水墨與各式媒材融合性的的創作。
我的藝術宗旨在於探索生命之於人們的各種意義，並以淡墨、淡彩、寧靜為特色，在溫柔的繪畫語彙中盼望在各種苦痛中的人們能感受單單得以寓居於世的難得與恩典。這些作品源於我自身無以治癒的疾病長期的折磨、手術與藥物輔助的領悟，我經歷各種無以名狀的傷悲卻真心相信著愛，且付出行動去愛人，支持病痛中的孩童，因為經歷使我明白唯有愛治癒醫學無法改變的記號。繪畫反映了我對生命感受的深刻理解與對創作的不懈追求。
我自信我的作品不僅僅是視覺上的享受，更是一種情感的表達並能與觀者產生心神領會。我盼望我的藝術作品能夠引起觀眾心裡的一點漣漪，也付出行動去給予、去溫暖更多人的心房。我也期待能激發觀者思考並感謝自身擁有的愛與溫柔，東方媒材的運用能與他們擁有豐富的文化對話，更使觀者看見東方媒材不只是大山大水，也可以是最小最細心的體貼。
在過去的十多年裡，我的作品曾參展於台灣由北至南各畫廊、歐洲的法國、英國、美國的賓州與位於北非的摩洛哥，每次展出皆獲得許多觀者與藝評的肯定與討論。這些經歷不僅激勵我繼續追求藝術上的卓越，也使我更明白在成為藝術家之前，我一定要是一個有血有肉有愛的人。
我希望有榮幸在您的藝廊中展示我的作品，與您一同分享藝術的喜悅，並為觀眾帶來新的視覺體驗。我相信這不僅對我個人是一次重要的機會，也將豐富您的藝廊收藏。

Dear art gallery or collector:
I hope this letter brings you joy as an artist. I am Lin Yen Hsin, a Taiwanese creator born in the 1990s. I have devoted myself to creating contemporary Chinese ink paintings that integrate various media for over ten years.
My artistic purpose is to explore the various meanings of the life of people, and I use ink and colors with plenty of water so it seems pale but gentle, and tranquility is characteristic. In the gentle painting vocabulary, I hope that people in all kinds of pain can feel the rareness and joy of grace simply because of being able to live in the world. These works stem from the long-term torture of my incurable disease, undergoing endless surgery and medication. I have experienced all kinds of indescribable sadness, but I genuinely believe in love, and I take action to love others and support children in pain. The experience made me realize that merely love could heal scars that medicine cannot cure. Painting reflects my deep understanding of life's feelings and my unremitting pursuit of creation.
My works are visual enjoyment and expressions of emotion, which can create a spiritual understanding for the audience. I hope my artistic works cause a little ripple in the audience's hearts so I can give and warm more people's hearts. I also hope to inspire the audience to think about and appreciate their love and tenderness. The use of oriental media can make a rich cultural dialogue with them. It also allows viewers to see that the oriental press is not just about astonishing mountains and marvelous rivers but also about the most vulnerable and beautiful things, which are attentive and considerate.
In the past ten years, my works have been exhibited in galleries from north to south in Taiwan, France, the United Kingdom in Europe, Pennsylvania in the United States, and Morocco in North Africa. Every time I have exhibited my works, I have received many visitors and art critics' affirmation and discussion. These experiences inspired me to pursue artistic excellence and made me understand that I must be a person of flesh, blood, and love before becoming an artist.
I want to display my works in your gallery, share the joy of art with you, and bring new visual experiences to the audience. This is a significant opportunity for me and will enrich your gallery collection.
